Recruitment Marketing Officer (Maternity Cover)
Job Summary
Middlesex University are looking to recruit a Marketing Officer to their busy Student Recruitment marketing team for 1 year maternity cover. The main purpose of your role will be to generate leads and convert them into applicants and enrolled students through implementing the University’s student marketing strategy and delivering effective marketing tools and support to achieve marketing and recruitment goals for each target audience and assigned subject areas.
Job Description
There is a particular focus on: delivering plans informed by the annual decision-making cycle for UK based students, producing appropriate marketing tools to influence prospective students in their choices regarding where and what to study, use the marketing mix effectively to deliver innovation, consistency of quality and value for money. You will also work with the corporate communications team to ensure clarity on overall positioning/USP’s of the University and effective communication of these messages through marketing tools.

With significant experience in a busy marketing role and a sound understanding of the requirements for delivery of effective marketing communications online and in print, you’ll bring first-rate marketing, copywriting, communication, data analysis, research, and relationship building skills. Using marketing metrics, you will understand and support aligned key subject areas for recruitment ensuring tools and campaigns support growth in these areas. A good knowledge of CMS is also important, combined with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels. Last but definitely not least, you must share our enthusiasm for and belief in Higher Education.

Under the direction of the Student Recruitment Marketing Manager and in collaboration with the other Marketing Officer implement the University’s student marketing strategy and deliver effective marketing tools and support to achieve marketing and recruitment goals for each target audience and assigned subject areas. Effectively use the marketing mix to deliver innovation, consistency of quality and value for money.
