Pension
We are one of the few organisations in Britain to continue to offer a final salary pension scheme – meaning a guaranteed pension based on your salary when you retire. We also operate a flexible retirement policy.

Annual Leave
We offer 25-30 days of annual leave to administrative staff and 35 days for academic staff. Our paid maternity leave is over and above the statutory requirement and we offer a variety of other types of leave for parents and carers of dependents.
Flexible working and childcare

We encourage and support flexible working and many of our staff also take advantage of supported homeworking one or two days a week. We operate a childcare voucher scheme that allows parents to make tax savings on a portion of their salary to pay for childcare. We also have two nurseries, one at our Hendon campus and the other at our Trent Park campus.

Career development
As a university, we are able to support our employees with in-house learning and training related to their role and career. We also offer fee waivers for employees wishing to follow a Middlesex degree programme.
